This Barbie doll should make it to everyone's christmas list this year, young and old. The role models that exist today are wonderful, but let's not forget about the heritage of the women of the past. Audrey Hepburn is a personal hero, I have this Barbie sitting next to my desk at home as a reminder of what is old and beautiful and classic. Nothing will make me happier than buying this doll for my own daughter someday and opening up her eyes to the possibilities of past, present and future for women. Thank you Mattel.

Every little girl grows up loving Barbie - regardless of how PC it is - she's pretty, she drives nice cars, and she's had every job in the world, from waitress on roller skates, to cocktail lounge singer, to astronaut. How cool is that?

Somewhere along the way, we outgrow playing with Barbie's (although most women I know admit to saving them in the attic somewhere) and we graduate to bigger and better idols - Jackie O, Princess Diana, Audrey Hepburn - women with grace, poise, dedication, and a timeless beauty. We learn a little about personal beauty and a lot about life from these women.

Now we can enjoy the best of both worlds - a little girls' dream of beauty and life, and a real womans appreciation for how it really works - in this beautiful statuesque doll.

Not a great "play" item, I must admit - something for mom more than for daughter, but a true piece of history and a treasure to own. I keep mine on the mantel like an Oscar.

Audrey Hepburn was undoubtedly a model of the perfect Barbie and is now. Now they are immprtalized as they should be.

My daughter enjoys watching Audrey Hepburn movies so she really likes this doll. I bought her the doll to play with, even if it made me cringe to watch the tiny tiara come off and the hair get rumpled. I am glad to see a real woman, and an admirable woman, being memorialized in a doll that my children can play with. Audrey Hepburn's work for children and her graciousness can be discussed with my daughter-so in addition to us having fun with the doll I can sneak some teaching in, too!

aurdrey hepburn a timeless icon for young and old . i am a 25 year old young lady who is mesmerized by the timeless classic of breakfast at tiffanys for i too feal like holly golightly since i could rember my family has shown be to love the old because thats why theres new... this doll is like looking at a aurdrey hepburn photo.it captures her to a tee shes wearing a very nice pink dress as seen in the flim . and a tiny pink tiara i loved her soo much i brought another one in the black dress . this doll cost a preatty penny but she worth it . she just as classy as the woman she made to look like!!

The doll is marvelous! It looks almost like Audrey alive, together with the doll in black from the same movie they are the only dolls that have that face as the dolls from "My Fair Lady" just carry her name.
