Great CD for what it sets out to do...,

This is NOT the CD you'll want to buy if you...A. Are expecting any new music (It has none.) B. Are looking for a comprehensive collection of early hits from Amy (Look for a boxed set within the next year to accomplish that goal.) C. Are looking for an album that has a logical flow or sequence (This collection was put together by RCA, who only owns the rights to some of Amy's songs. They are not all that concerned with such things.) With that said, however, this CD does indeed find its way into my CD player quite frequently. For new fans, its a neat way to see what capabilities (or at least a few of them) Amy has musically. For those of us who have been fans for awhile, it's a nice collection of songs that we love. And, yes, they've been remastered so they truly sound better than ever.... Thanks for reading,

Old songs, new collection. Nothing new, though.,

This is not an album of singles nor is it an album of greatest hits through her career. It is, however, an album of personal love songs to Jesus. These songs are from her early career in the late '70s and early '80s. Think of it as a synopsis of her born again Christian life. Very uplifting simple songs you can sing along to. This is like an extension of her THE COLLECTION album. There really wasn't a need for this album but it's nice to have just because it's different songs in different order.

This is a collection of songs from a bunch of Amy's albums. The thing I didn't like about it is that each of Amy's albums, at least in my own mind, has its own mood associated with it (usually corresponding to her age, from 17-42 I think) and associated degree of spiritual maturity and worship. This album seemed, at least to me, to haphazardly group them together. For example, "Doubly Good To You" and "Sing your praise to the Lord" are two entirely different songs but are right next to each other. It might be good for someone not so familiar with Amy's inspirational music, but I don't like it so much. I don't think it's worth getting if you already own the other CDs.
