Music that moves people...,
By
This review is from: Her House Of Sin (Audio CD)
Vanessa Lowe's music is some of the most moving I've heard from a young artist. Simple melodies that bring to mind Fleetwood Mac and Suzanne Vega combine with an economy of words reminiscent of Elvis Costello. The result is thoughtful, touching music that I find myself listening to again and again.

It's great to hear some new music with lyrics that have depth and that intrigue and cause you to think. The guitar is great and each song has a sound all it's own. I listen to it over and over again without tiring of it.

A Truly unique songwriter,

This is one of the most original and best independent releases I've heard in the past year (and I've heard a lot doing internet DJ'ing!). Her melodies take unexpected, fresh turns, the lyrics are rich, and the production is very good. Listen to this one.
