5.0 out of 5 stars ROMANTICALLY INTRIGUING!, November 1, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Her Sister's Children: A Little Secret (Harlequin Superromance No. 857) (Paperback)
What a delightful read! Roxanne found the perfect blend of toughness and tenderness in Logan Matthews character. Her descriptions of the cliffs on Lake Superior made you wish you were there! The intrigue and suspense were a delightful surprise in a romance novel. An excellent first novel!

5.0 out of 5 stars ABSORBING ROMANTIC SUSPENSE, August 21, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Her Sister's Children: A Little Secret (Harlequin Superromance No. 857) (Paperback)
A romance I thoroughly enjoyed, with heart-warming, fully-drawn characters. The heroine, Claire, becomes an "instant mother" for her sister's three orphaned children, and takes them to live at a charming inn in Minnesota. There, she encounters an irresistible "man from the past" - the hunky (but mysterious) Logan, who threatens her heart even more than her peace of mind. I read this book well into the night. Couldn't put it down. Am looking forward to reading more books by this talented new author.

5.0 out of 5 stars What a wonderful story -- of longing that can't be denied!, August 19, 1999

This review is from: Her Sister's Children: A Little Secret (Harlequin Superromance No. 857) (Paperback)
The heroine's poignant efforts to raise her sister's orphaned children tugs at your heart with just the right balance of humor and tenderness.

The hero sends your heart fluttering in an entirely different direction! Logan, sexy and dangerous, is irresistible in his forbidden bad-boy appeal. The climax to the romance is eagerly awaited -- satisfaction guaranteed!

The suspense keeps you on the edge of your seat, till you're sure you hear the north winds howling above, feel the crashing spray at your feet and sense the villain's breath tickling the back of your neck. It's all you can do to keep from rooting out loud for the 'good guys'.

Ms Rustand crafts her novel with a sure hand and a deft touch. Make room on your keeper shelf -- this book delivers!

5.0 out of 5 stars A wonderful romantic suspense!, August 12, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Her Sister's Children: A Little Secret (Harlequin Superromance No. 857) (Paperback)
This is a must buy for anyone who loves romance with just the right twist of suspense. Claire is a wonderfully, warm heroine and Logan is a "to die for" hero. The setting is beautifully described and made me feel as if I actually experienced the awesome power of a Lake Superior storm. An excellent read, and one that will have a permanent place on my "keeper" shelf!
