Book Description

June 15, 2000 Superrromance, 923
"Sometimes you have to tell a lie to find the truth"

Her sister had lived such a secret life, Whitney Sheffield didn't even know that Morgan had a three-year-old daughter. In a desperate phone call just before her death, Morgan had begged Whitney to find the little girl, to rescue SaraJane from her dangerous father--a man called Rhys Gannon.

When Whitney tracks Gannon down to a small place in Arizona, she lies about why she's there...and what she wants from him.

But contrary to what she expects, Rhys seems to genuinely love his daughter. In fact, the more Whitney sees of him, the more he "doesn't" resemble the man her sister described.

Whitney knows she "has" to discover Morgan's secret. Because, like it or not, she's fallen in love with Rhys Gannon.

More About the Author

Linda Style was born and raised in Minnesota, where she spent many long, cold winters making up stories in her head. She attended the University of Minnesota, studying behavioral science, married and had a family. But the dream of writing persisted, and after moving to Arizona, she earned a degree in journalism from the Walter Cronkite School of Jouralism at Arizona State University. She's worked in many jobs from social services to magazine editor, and, now, with 14 novels under her belt, her books are sold worldwide and in many different languages. In addition to penning her novels of romance, adventure and intrigue, she also teaches novel writing at Bootcamp for Novelists Online. Since her first sale to Harlequin Enterprises in 1999, her novels have won several contests and awards, including the prestigious Daphne du Maurier Award. When not writing, or teaching, Linda indulges her passions for travel, photography, hiking in the Arizona mountains, and enjoying her family. This review is from: Her Sister's Secret (Harlequin Superromance, No. 923) (Paperback)
I loved this book! The characters were real and unique, the conflict was compelling, and the story was a page turner. I couldn't put it down--except to reach for tissues for the last few pages. A wonderful story and a talented writer.
