Much of the book contains standard, albeit fall-on-the-floorhumorous, astrological projections: Lichtenstein touches on how each sign meshes with various careers, personality traits, lifestyles, family relationships, and of course, luvvvvv. In this last respect, "Herscopes" is racier than other books in the horoscope genre, speaking openly and graphically about sex. Virgos, for example, belie their virginal and somewhat stodgy stereotype by being "vixens under the sheets if you ever want to give them a taste," somewhat counterbalancing their annoying tendency to "kvetch, kvetch, kvetch." Aquarians (whom Lichtenstein alternately calls "Aqueerians") are "cold fish in bed," while Sagittarians' "ample horsey thighs can wrap around just about anyone." More About the Author

Madam Lichtenstein, as she is frequently called, is descended from a long line of persons with extraordinary perceptive powers. Her great aunt, Etta Weimar, was the famous Roumanian card reader to both kings and queens.

Lichtenstein was educated in Europe where she studied Tarot and Astrology. She currently resides in New York City and eagerly dispenses advice whether requested or not.

She is a whirlwind of new age activity penning monthly and weekly horoscopes, two blogs (www.thestarryeye.typepad.com and www.thestarryeye.typepad.com/queer) and maintains a website (www.TheStarryEye.com) which is ranked among the top new age sites in the world.

I loved this funny, cuttingly honest book -- it's as much about life and relationships as it is about guiding us to the future. Buy it for yourself or a girlfriend! She should write another!!

I am blessed by knowing Charlene! I'm a fellow Astrologer, and we're both gay, tho' of different sexes and with different "preferences". But I STILL got a "charge" out of her book and have ordered copies for a number of the SPECIAL ladies who I'm privileged to have as friends! A perfect gift, sure to bring delight to the lucky recipients!
