This is the only Herstyler product that I don't care for. It is too sticky and stiff.

Have bought this spray before, and it works perfect with the herstyler iron that I have. The curls stay in, and the hair doesnt get frizzy after a couple of hours, like it does with other products.

I found Herstyler Styling Spray under the bathroom sink, abandoned in error by my newly married daughter. I was out of my product so I tried it. It leaves my hair feeling clean and yet holds the style. I am ordering plenty of this stuff.

I did not like this product, the first time I ordered it, it came and the bottle was empty. Vendor did give me a refund, and I tried to order it several mos later and it is not worth the money!! Product seems to be watered down with little smell and worked terrible. Don't waiste your money on this product :(

This spray is listed for keeping curls nice, but I use it for smoothing when blow-drying my hair straight and it is the only styling spray I have found that takes my thick hair and makes it smooth and silky. It seems there is confusion as to whether it is a finishing hairspray or a styling spray. On their own site, they list it as hairspray, but the bottle itself says styling spray. I use it as a pre blow-dry spray and my hair comes out gorgeously silky. It is a bit tricky to get that effect, however, and you have to stay with it, but it is well worth it. My process: After I shampoo and condition and towel dry, I spray Nexxus dualiste leave-in protein conditioner in my hair (quite a bit all over) and brush through with a wide tooth brush. I put it up in a towel again for 3 minutes. I then spray the Herstyler hairspray all over very generously and brush through again and one more time up in the towel for 3 minutes. This takes off any excess and helps speed the drying process. I then dry my hair exactly as I would like it. As it dries, at one point it becomes a little more difficult to get the brush through because the product is drying. But as you continue to work with the dryer and brush, it starts to dry and becomes soft and supple and beautifully silky. Because I always worry about airborne chemicals in sprays I'm very careful in the spraying process and the drying process not to inhale any evaporating fumes that are released as I spray or dry the hair. If there is a lot of product in one spot there will be some steam rising and I am careful not to inhale that with any product I use. I've tried hundreds of dollars of product to get my hair silky, and this is the only one that works, so I recommend it highly.
