I tried this as an alternative to taking Klonapin, to try to taper down doses. It has a nice kick in the beginning and does fade away after an hour or two. The bottle says to use 3 to 5 times daily but I have only used it 2 times per day with good results. If you are looking for natural ways to get off or ease up on prescription anxiety meds this is one to try. I think valerian root works best but I don't care for side effects that valerian root has, I've done my research on it and this lemon balm seems safest. Don't be fooled into thinking that these natural herbs are safe, even though they may not be harmful, they can interact with other meds and some have their own list of nasty side effects so do your research before buying.
