I was amazed how much information this short book contained. That is because the author does not fluff up her information, she gets straight to the point and delivers.

My personal favorite chapter is the one about teas, because I enjoy drinking tea. While the positive health effects of drinking green tea are widely known this book contained much information I had never heard of!

Marta also featured an entire section about smoothies. Don't all of love those?

Luckily, her parents searched for other solutions and they found a medical doctor who also specialized in naturopathy. It was thanks to homeopathy, phytotherapy and balanced nutrition that uveitis attacks were defeated and her eyesight was saved. The doctor that saved her eyesight is now almost 100 years old and is still enjoying great health! Every day she is grateful that natural medicine has provided her with solutions. To clarify, as a patient, Marta also believes in traditional medicine and the fusion of the two worlds, but she always advises people to explore the natural and holistic ways as much as possible.

At 31, Marta feels focused, happy and fulfilled. Of course, she had her ups and downs on her way to discovering her passion and her way, but she also feels grateful for bad times. Great read, I am a fitness buff myself and the one thing I enjoyed and think that separates this book from others. Is the approach of being healthy and losing weight the natural healthy way. This book is loaded with tips and most importantly what to eat. Natural foods, herbs, supplements and even natural phytotherapy. This is a recommend.

You are not going to get healthy if you continue to eat crap, processed foods and if you don't challenge your body for at least 5 hours a week. Taking the stairs instead of the elevator a few times a week is NOT going to cut it - you have to work your ass off. Switching to low-fat or "diet" crap food isn't going to do it, either. Eat REAL food, just eat less of it. This book changed the way I look at everything I consume! It's hard enough to get people to eat chemical ridden "supposedly" healthy foods. The problem with our society is we want to lose weight for vanity, not health. Only do people come to trainers with nutrition help because their doctors have told them to or they're going on meds or border line diabetics. They think they don't need advice lol! This book goes into detail and science. Who wouldn't want to educate themselves on something we need for survival - FOOD!

I've been struggling with weight loss for many years. while it's only 20 or so pounds that I need to lose, I just cant seem to shake it off. I had never heard of the Alkaline diet so I thought I would read this book and see what it was about. Phytotherapy was something I had not heard of either. Anytime I can lose weight and do something healthy for my body, I am all for it. The author mentions many natural extracts. Lots of good info on smoothies and juicing as well. Great read.

Great content! This book serves as a very good reference for people who would like to lose weight, but do not know what remedy to turn to. Well, this book has a lot of choices for you. I love that it was not biased-- it was just truly trying to get the facts straight. The contents were obviously well researched, and the tone of the book is friendly enough that i sounds convincing. Great job, author! :)

As a coach I have a diverse range of clients but one thing many of them have in common is that they want to lose weight so that they feel better and have more confidence. This book enabled me to help a lot of people. I always advise my clients against crash diets and synthetic drugs to lose weight. I practice a holistic lifestyle and encourage those who look to me for advice to do the same. This book was able to give me very specific ingredients for weight loss as well as some natural energy enhancers. Very helpful!

I found some excellent ideas for weight loss and use of different extract tablets that I was unaware of. Focusing on healthy ways to lose weight and have more energy is the best route, as opposed to chemical supplements and caffeine. This book will give you great direction. I always enjoy the straightforward and approach Marta uses in her books: easy to understand and full of useful information. I will definitely keep this book on hand for future reference!
