Herbal Salt Scrub Lavender 20.50 Ounces

My 9 year old daughter suffers from eczema and when we went to Hawaii I was so worried about how the salt water in the ocean would irritate her skin, but amazingly I found the exact opposite to be true. Within a few days of regular swimming in the ocean, her eczema had totally cleared up. When we came home and her eczema returned, we went looking for something with sea salt. We found this product and absolutely love it. It works great and it doesn't irritate her skin. We add it to her bath and have her soak.

Before you take your shower, moisten your body with warm water and then rub the salt/oil mixture all over your body. I'd avoid the face and neck. If the granules feel uncomfortable on your hands, you can wear a pair of latex gloves. This is also helpful when using the salt scrub to exfoliate your feet.

If you want an even more aromatic experience, you can mix some of this oil with your favorite essential oils.

This product should be used with a sense of caution. Put a towel down on the floor of you shower or bath before using this product. When you are dealing with oil in the shower, this is a good precaution and the towel is easily wrung out later and thrown in the wash. It is worth thinking about; otherwise you can risk falling in the shower.

You will also want to consider washing out the shower floor with a good scrub cleaner before stepping in again. I found this out the hard way after sitting in the shower and rubbing an oil and salt mixture all over. I could not get out of the tub and fortunately, my husband was kind enough to bring me a towel.

While humorous, I think caution is advised with this product.

This is the absolute best scrub I've found. I have a skin condition called Grover's disease, which causes my skin to be extremely itchy. The scrub feels wonderful, and the oils in it seem to help comfort my raw, itchy skin. I feel silky and smooth all day whenever I use it, and the wonderful lavender aroma is emotionally uplifting. I go to massage school, and recently we did a "spa day" during which we used various salt scrubs. None was anywhere near as good as this one!

I use it on my feet every time I shower and once a week all over. It smells good, it feels good both during the scrub and after the shower (my skin feels soft without adding lotion). I definately recommend this product.

purchased this bath scrub instead of the one i usually (dead sea products) get, because it was larger size and cheaper. The smell is not near as good as dead sea and granules are smaller. It is ok but for a few more dollars i prefer dead sea salt scrub.

I swim everyday and this product gets all the chlorine and dirt from the pool off my skin. The product also softens my skin at the same time. I give the product as a gift to family and friends and they love it.

I really like this product. For me it's more of a scrub slash skin polisher. It makes your skin so soft and smooth. I use this about twice a week and my skin stays soft during the in between days. I really bought this to use just for occasional pampering but between the subtle laveder scent and soft skin I use it more than I thought I would.
