well worth it for fans of draper
Herbert Draper is one of my favorite artists so I was quite pleased with this book. There is a wealth of information on his life and career, along with a good section of plates and many beautiful black and white drawings throughout the text. You cant find most of this anywhere else as this is the only monograph on the immensly talented but little known Draper. It would be...

WARNING:
only pages 14 through 48 are in color. the rest are b/w. i havent read the book yet, so i cant comment on the writing.

Herbert Draper is one of my favorite artists so I was quite pleased with this book. There is a wealth of information on his life and career, along with a good section of plates and many beautiful black and white drawings throughout the text. You cant find most of this anywhere else as this is the only monograph on the immensly talented but little known Draper. It would be nice if the plates were larger and more numerous but that will have to wait for a future book.
