Despite its age, this is one of the easiest to follow books on Herbs and their practical uses available. The 31 most commonly used herbs are profiled in a concise manner. Each herb section includes the typical Latin and growing and cultivation information. But more than that, each section also includes in-depth descriptions of the plants at various growth stages, the history and mythology surrounding the herb, harvesting and processing details and a complete list of medicinal and cosmetic uses.

A complete herb guide, Herbs; Their Cultivation and Usage showcases seeding and planting preparation and details which plants to grow well as companion plants. This is an excellent book for anyone interested in cultivating herbs for medicinal and cosmetic uses or for cooking.
