Most women will benefit from reading this small book. Dr. Bove writes simply, but each sentence is full of information that can make a world of difference to a woman struggling with a health problem. Her insights about woman's complex hormonal system and how our modern lives exhaust it simply can't be found elsewhere very easily. She lists common problems and what potentially are the causes. She describes common medical procedures for each situation and the side effects that are likely to result. And she outlines a course for further research regarding various therapies. She does not intend this book to be a final answer, but she does give very specific suggestions that have worked for her in her famous practice. If someone isn't struggling with health problems, this book can offer advice to prevent trouble from developing down the road. If you are stuck in a downward spiral of declining health, as I have been, this book can be a God-send. I know there are many women taking hormone replacement therapy - on the path to surgery - who would be very grateful to know there is an alternative. And all mothers should read this to be able to aid their daughters. This information can affect how you eat, dress, work and play!
