This may not be the currently fashionable mode of performing early opera, but if you forget that it is Handle you may love this recording. I enjoy all the singing and the voices. Conductor Matacic is always reliable and the sound is good for its time. If you can get it at a discount, or buy used, it is certainly well worth having.
