5.0 out of 5 stars The Littles, October 30, 2002

The Littles is one of my favorites. It is the prequil to the animated series and tells how Henry meets Tom and Lucy Little. (note: how the 30 minute cartoon says Henry found Tom and Lucy is NOT true according to the movie!!--watch and you'll find out, as Paul Harvey put it, "...the rest of the story") The characters are honest, genuine, and teach kids that your true friends will always look out for you. This beautifully animated movie is great for all ages.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Enough, March 16, 2006
This review is from: Here Comes the Littles (DVD)
An obscure title for most people but I do remember watching it as a kid and seeing it on the disney channel a few times. I really enjoyed this among other cartoons from the 80s. They don't make cartoons like this anymore and it really brings back memories of the cartoons I loved in the 80's. If you are looking into purchasing the above title my guess is you were searching for it or other cartoons of the era. If not it is a cute tale about little people who live in the walls of a house and fly arounfd in sardine cans etc. Two Younger littles end up in a suitcase and find there way to young henry's (human character) evil stepuncles house where they must help henry escape and save their familys money from the uncle. The only complaint that I really do have is that the color saturation in the dvd quality is way too much. Yah I know just fix that on the TV menu but even when, it is still oversaturated. I almost wasn't sure if this was the right movie when I first put it in. It had been a while. Movie is still very lovable and a classic for sure. Enjoy.

4.0 out of 5 stars The littles first big screen movie!, January 23, 2009
This review is from: Here Comes the Littles (DVD)
The littles like many 80's cartoons got a big screen release based on the show. The film takes place before the show and shows how henry met the littles. It later aired on the abc weekend special (in 5 parts) and the disney channel. It's a great kids movie.

Note that this is not in the littles complete collection so you will have to buy it by itself. I like the dvd but only have one complaint with it. It's not the original end credits to the film.
I have a vhs copy and it ends with movie style end credets with a updated version of the littles song. On the dvd it only has the end credits to the tv show! They cut out the movie credits and replaced it with the show end credits. The rest of the film is fine and it's in widescreen but i wish i had the full film. It loses a star for that.

The only extra's are intro's to other shows. No movie trailer.
