innovative sound of keen verse and upbeat tempo makes this cd so very enjoyable. lee is a storyteller with exceptional insight put to music that is exciting to listen to and never gets tiresome. this new artist will one day be revered by all.

After seeing Lee Rude (formerly Charlie Bucket) at several Twin Cities gigs over the past few years, I have been eagerly awaiting the release of this disc. Lee and the boys did not disappoint. Covering rock, blues and country gives the tunes a pleasant feel while Lee's lyrics carry you along. It is astounding how many wry and eye-opening observations can be put into one record. Buy it. Buy it. Buy it. Discover that there's more out there than N'Syncstreet Boys and Brittany Aguilera.

"Here It Comes" combines well written, interesting lyrics and wonderful music to make a fantastic album that is an absolute winner. Play the album for the music but listen to the lyrics because they will reach out and touch you. Keep writing Lee, this is GREAT stuff.

I've seen Lee Rude at a couple of gigs now, both in Minneapolis and in Madison, WI. He has an easy, approachable style to his live playing that is wonderfully captured in his recordings. Although the music is often poignant and introspective, his songs never fall into the maudlin or narcisstic. "Here it Comes" is the kind of CD you want to play while traveling sunny country roads, at home on a rainy Friday night, or just about any time you want good music delivered in a fresh and uncluttered way. Great album filled with great tunes.
