5.0 out of 5 stars Great Book
I've read all of Lorena McCourtney's books I think! I love the Andi McConnell mysteries. They are similar to her Ivy Malone mystery/humor series that are probably my favorites! These books are a perfect combination of mystery, mishap and mayhem. Andi bumbles her way through her often hilarious attempts to solve the mystery which always just happens to land in her lap. Once again this author proves to be talented, but much emphasis on christian beliefs and "going to church". I am christian and attend church but too much gets in the way of a well developed plot. However, this book was not as bad as the Ivy Malone series which I will never read again.

Excellent book. I like Andi and her limousine. And check out Phreddie's cat bed. Can hardly wait for the next book.

I am so glad to have found this author. I started with her invisible series (Ivy Malone) and wasn't sure if I would like this series as well but I am glad I tried it.

The author's voice is really outstanding - she writes clearly, her dialogue flows well, and her characters are well rounded, flawed and multidimensional, and incredibly likeable!

These are not action packed whodunnits. They meander at the pace of the characters. But it's nice to have middle aged characters who aren't trying to be young'uns and are comfortable with what they've made of life.

I highly recommend any of the books by this author.

This was the first book I've read by this author. I enjoyed it a lot. I would suggest, however, that you read the first book in the series before reading this one.

I totally adored reading this and others by the author where the lead character was a senior citizen. It really was fun.

5.0 out of 5 stars A fun-filled ride!, February 24, 2011

Andi McConnell's limousine service parks her in the middle of another murder mystery. In Here Comes the Ride, she busies herself carting around a host of interesting characters for the wedding of the century, not least of which is the bride-to-be.

But when murder ruins the occasion, Andi is in the perfect position to sleuth. I love Lorena's prose and I couldn't put the story down because every character had a reason to commit the murder--the perfect cozy mystery. I also easily related to Andi--she's a fun character and I found myself rooting for her until the end. Now, I hope I get to read more Andi stories!

This had all the necessary components to keep me interested. In fact, I found it difficult to find a stopping point - it was hard to put down. Looking for more of Lorena McCourtney's books!
