5.0 out of 5 stars Funny, sexy, and heart-warming March 16, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
I'm so psyched that Rita Herron, a writer for Harlequin intrigue and dark paranormals, has put up some of her back list. This story was so much fun! Who doesn't love a story about a shy twin forced to takes risks to help her more adventurous twin? And her reward is yummy Austin McDane, her fake fiancé. Sweet and sexy-the perfect combination!

5.0 out of 5 stars Entertaining romance! March 16, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
One twin, the troublemaker, enlists her sister to switch places with her and play this guy's fake fiance for the weekend. They go home to family for his best friend (and ex-girlfriend's) wedding and their parents and his big family and give him an impromptu wedding. Funny and touching!

4.0 out of 5 stars Fun Read....When is the sequel coming? March 23, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
This was a fun, fast (about 6 -7 hours) light-hearted read that was perfect for a chilly, rainy March evening!
The only thing I didn't like was how "abrubt" the ending was! I would have given this book 5 Stars if there would have been an Epilogue! The end of the book advertises a sequel to "Here Comes the Bride" called: "There Goes the Groom" (Marci's story) -- and contains a link to the author's website. Went the author's website & there isn't a single entry mentioning "There Goes the Groom"! Aargh! Frustrating! If an author advertises a sequel, the least they can do is have info on their website about it, even if it is to say that something happened and the sequel won't be published after all!

5.0 out of 5 stars A few hours well spent! May 19, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
This book is everything it purports to be - a frothy, fun romance! I could say it stretches the bounds of believability - which of course it does - but the characterisation is excellent and the writing flows smoothly, making it an overnight read. The pace is just right and it has been well edited. The inevitable misunderstanding is well handled without being "over the top" as is the case in many novels of this genre. The heroine is relatively sensible within the bounds of the plot and of course, the hero is gorgeous. Mind you, I've yet to read a romance novel where the hero has not been so.

I was hoping for the followup to this - There Goes the Groom - but unfortunately it has not been posted yet. As an aged granny, I too like romance stories, and this one filled the light reading list very well
indeed :)

Congratulations to Rita Herron!

3.0 out of 5 stars LIGHTHEARTED READ, BUT WITH AN IMPLAUSIBLE PLOT March 17, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
Marci and Kimberly are twins mirror images of one another. But in personality they are like chalk and cheese. Marci is the outgoing party girl, while Kimberly is more serious and shy. Marci accepts the offer of two thousand dollars to pretend to be Austin McDane's fake fiancée for the weekend, but then she gets a date, and manages to persuade her sister Kimberly to take her place, albeit against Kimberly's feelings that this might turn into a complete disaster.
I realise that you have to suspend belief when reading some stories, but here you need to switch it off completely. Having said that this is a fairly enjoyable read, with pleasant characters. There was certainly a lot of chemistry between the H/h, and I liked the authors writing style, it was very accomplished. I might even check out Marci's story which is next.

2.0 out of 5 stars A disappointing read August 14, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
I chose this book because it was written by a bestselling author who was new to me and the plot sounded like a quick, lighthearted romp. Marci and Kimberly are identical twins in appearance, but couldn't be more different in personality. Marci is spontaneous, outgoing and flirtatious while Kimberly is thoughtful, shy and looking to settle down. Marci agrees to be a fake fiance for a weekend to help out sexy Austin McDane, then gets a better offer and asks Kimberly to take her place. Kimberly gets more than she bargained for when being a fake fiance turns into a spur-of-the-moment wedding. It felt more like the main characters fell in lust rather than in love. I was disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Entertaining March 19, 2012

I liked this book, it was really good. The story line wasn't really realistic, but it's not really supposed to be, that's kind of the point.
