I TRULY DO LOVE GLENN JONES FROM WHEN I FIRST HEARD THE CUT SHOW ME AND IVE BEEN SINGING HIS SONGS EVER SINCE HIS MUSIC IS A GREAT INSIRAYION TO MY SOUL.IHAVE ALL YOUR ALBUMS BUT MAYBE ONE.NO MATTER WHAT GLENN KEEP SINGING AND MAKING MUSIC PLEASE FOR ALL YOUR TRUE DIEHARD FANS BECAUSE YOU DO HAVE FANS OUTHERE IN THE WORLD SO PLEASE KEEP MAKING MUSICTELL YOUR WIFE JONOBE TO KEEP SINGING TOO .LUV BOTH OF YALL PLEASE KEEP MAKING MUSIC IWISH I COULD WRITE MUSIC FOR YOU AND YOUR WIFE . OUT OF ALL YOUR ALBUMS TO ME THE 2 SONGS THAT MAKE ME TEARY EYED ARE AT LAST AND IVE BEEN SEARCHIN. LOVEYA GLENN

For quite some time I wanted to replace this cd but I could never remember to do so and becuase it was so outdated I did not want to pay full price for it. I went to Amanzon and within a few clicks it was ordered and I received it days later. Thanks Amazon ~ job well done!

The reason I downloaded this album is so I could burn a copy and give it to my aunt. Along the way, I listened to most of these tracks in full and realized that...

Glenn Jones is one of those singers that's just blessed with a wonderful voice. You just want to believe every word that comes from his mouth.

And in fact, you just may. He's a hopeless romantic and believes in true love. The lyrics on these songs are good more often than not and when he gets it right, he really sets the mood (see the baby-maker 'Baby Come To Me').

However, there are faults with this disc. And big ones.

The entire middle of this CD is filled with predictable, R&B fodder that you can skip through because it's boring as hell.

I am very familiar with 'I've Been Searchin' (Nobody Like You)' and simply adore the R&B #1 'Here I Go Again', but come ON, Glenn! Give me something I can seriously work with!

And it's not the fact that this CD is 18 years old, because I can easily get into almost every track on Mariah Carey's Emotions which is an R&B sap-fest full of songs about love-lost, heartbreak and love-filled moments (not to mention it was released a year sooner than this disc).

Seriously, from track 3, 'Call Me' to number 6, 'The Way You Do', you will probably be really bored and skip through some tracks. I willingly skipped through them all before the end was over.

But with track 7, things get back on track. 'Baby Come To Me' comes in and really does set the mood for love-making. It's not a great song, but a good one. Track 8, 'In You' continues the string of good tracks. It doesn't completely put you to sleep like tracks 3-6.

Maybe another problem with this CD is the production. It seems like it was unvaried for the most part and that's not a good thing.

'Love Is Forever' is the next track and the subject matter is the exact same as another song that I've already heard on this CD. It makes me want to skip past, but I'll listen to it just so I can rate this better. OK. So I made it to the 3 minute mark. NOT my cup of tea.

'Get It Right' is a dance number that of course sounds dated. But it switches things up a little.

'Say Yeah', the last track takes it even further and talks about the Lord, Jesus Christ and His goodness. I'm not religious, although to be fair, there are religious tracks that I can get into. This one is not one of them.

And with that, I only recommend that you download the singles. An all-around disappointment in my eyes.

In April of 2001, my first dance at our wedding reception was "IN YOU". What a great song. I can't believe how many of our guest still remember that song. It's funny how I remember the first song we danced to and my husband keeps forgetting. Although his most memorable moment of our wedding was when I walked down the isle to Luther Vandross "If This World Was Mind". Both great songs. But, "In You" will have you in the moment.

I am using his song "In You" as my song selection for a First Dance. It is a beautiful song. When I first heard it four years ago I fell in love with it. Glenn Jones has a strong voice. Most of the songs sound a bit dated in their production, but there are still a few good soulful songs on here that are keepers. I wish we had more balladeers like Glenn Jones around these days. Rap music just doesn't cut it when you want to be romanced.

I love this Glenn Jones CD...My favorite is #8 on the CD entitled "In You". My fiance and I have chosen this to be "our" song. It describes my fiance's heart towards me, better than no other song we've ever heard. We are looking for info on how to get the track to this song, so it can be sung at our wedding planned for February 5, 2000. If anyone has any info..please E-mail me. It will be greatly appreciated!

When my coordinator chose "In You" as the first song that my husband and I were to dance off of, I was not that excited--until I listened to the words. It was so beautiful and every time I hear this song, it brings tear to my eyes. This song fit my husband and I to a tee because we have been together since I was 15 years old.

I KNOW THAT IT MAY SOUND CRAZY BUT I WANT SO MUCH FOR GLENN JONES HIMSELF TO SING THAT SONG AT MY WEDDING. I HEARD HIM SING THAT SONG IN PERSON IN TOLEDO THIS PAST SUMMER AND WHEN I HEARD IT I KNEW THAT WAS GOING TO BE MY WEDDING SONG. THAT SONG HAS SO MUCH MEANING TO ME AND IT REALLY TELLS THE STORY ABOUT HOW I REALLY FEEL ABOUT MY SOULMATE/MY FRIEND/MY LOVE!!!
