This was my favorite record of the year. Jennifer O'Connor fulfills her earlier promise with a collection of songs
that pack an emotional punch. These are songs from the heart. Intensely personal and yet ultimately universal in their humanity. Her plaintive voice matches the folk/rock stylings of her music to express most sublimely the yearning and vulnerability that is well known to anybody who has loved and lost. A stunning achievement.
