Graham Colton's "Here Right Now" has a great pop sound. The opener is a kissing cousin to Guster's "Satellite" from their Ganging Up on the Sun CD, but has Graham's soaring vocals and his band crack thunder guitar avalanche. "You Find a Way" has another great pop beat with a catchy hook. Graham slows the pace & turns in a nice vocal on "Best Days," "Let's make the best of tonight, here comes the rest of our lives." "Forget About You" pumps furiously, "I am useless, young & stupid for thinking I'll get over you." "Cellophane Girl" begins with an acoustic guitar and strings on a sweet track, "You leave a sweet taste in my mouth on the edge of the world." "Always In Love" is another strong track with a glistening vocal by Colton. My current favorite track on the CD is "Whatever Breaks My Heart" with the powerful emotions that are mirrored by the strength of Colton's vocals and the sonic attack of the guitars on the chorus, "Round & round, you're spinning me." "New Years Resolution" has a piano backing and a pretty melody, "Here's to the ones you never forget; Here's to the year we had." I read a professional review that dismissed this CD as shallow. True, the subjects in Colton's songs are mostly romantic, but they are done well with variety in tempo and arrangement. I like it. Enjoy!

"Here" to Stay!,

Graham Colton's major label debut solo album "Here Right Now" is an absolute gem that sparkles in uniqueness and is heavy laden with raw emotion and pure feeling. The CD has been over two years in the making since Graham Colton Band's debut album "Drive" was released. Graham says he's never felt more a part of an album in his life. It shows. The songs are great.
The best songs include You Find a Way, Forget About You, Cellophane Girl, Always on Your Side, and Always in Love. All of the songs are sure to please even the casual listener. Buy the CD. You won't regret it!

This CD is superb. Compare it to the Graham Colton Band CD and you realize immediately how far he's progressed. His voice is stronger and more certain and there is a lot more energy and thrust to the music. The music is also more interesting and rhythmic than it is on the Band CD (nothing wrong with that CD, this is just so much better), there's more beat here as well. The voice is the same clear tenor but more mature and certain. It's also a disc you can (and I do) listen to over and over. I don't want to go through each track separately but there is not one I want to skip over. This is a buy and keep.

From the heart...,

I really liked "Drive", but I feel like Colton has grown so much from that album. This one is more heart felt and filling. I felt like it was the lyrics in "Drive" were what really got me into the songs, but with "Here Right Now" it's the lyrics PLUS the sound. There are so many beautiful tracks. However, if you really like the "rough around the edges" sound that "Drive" had, you might now like this one as much. "Here Right Now" seems to be smoother sounding. It does flow really well and I think it's a big step up from the previous Band album.

Graham Colton's Here Right Now is amazing. I can relate to most of the songs on the album. He has a great voice. I can play this CD over and over again, and not get tired of listening to this album. Here Right Now is an album I needed in my life. I am happy I can enjoy listening to this CD just as much as i love singing along to the songs on this album. I think Here Right Now is a must have album. This album is good to listen to when you're going through relationship problems. Here Right Now will make you smile, and make you cry, but at the end of the day I'm all good after a few listens to this album.
My favorite songs on Here Right Now are: 1. You Find A Way 2. Forget About You 3. On Your Side 4. Always in Love 5. If Love Was Enough 6. Whatever Breaks My Heart 7. Best Days

I ordered this CD after seeing Graham on GMA. Despite his age, his lyrics offer a much more mature view of life and love, and his voice and the music make his songs very memorable. I'll look forward to seeing more great things from this up and coming singer!

I first Heard Graham on Ellen. Really enjoyed his melodic voice mixed with a soft rock. I like the entire CD not just one or two of the songs that you sometimes buy.

We usually don't write music reviews, but this album is a pleasant surprise! Give it a try to "Best days" and you will be listening to the whole album over and over again...

I'm a huge GC fan and I'm listening to Drive as I write this and the new CD sounds a bit too common for me. Even with Tommy Walter of Abandoned Pools (another favorite of mine) pitching in the sound and even the lyrics aren't as strong as Drive. Just one guy's opinion. There's nothing even close to the searing licks on Cigarette.
