Great Band,
By
This review is from: In Here We Fall (Audio CD)
I had never heard of Electrasy until I went to a Fuel concert in Atlanta a few years back. The opening acts were to be a surprise and as it turned out, Electrasy was one of those acts. They were incredible live (better than Finger Eleven and Fuel...who both also performed that night), and I bought they're CD a few days later. Their sound is good and original, which is a hard to find these days. The entire album is great. I wish they had another.

Why hasn't anyone heard of Electrasy?,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: In Here We Fall (Audio CD)
I'm always talking to my friends saying "You know what's really good? Electrasy." And none of them has ever heard of them! IT JUST AIN'T RIGHT! Electrasy is a good band with a good blend of straight up hard rock and alternative. I think its just weird that they arent ever recognized by the media. I found the tracks "Cosmic Castaway" and "Dazed and Confused" to be the best. I think people need to spread the word of this band!

One word: AWESOME!!!,

This group is one of the greatest groups I have ever heard. They're diverse in their style of music, while keeping it interesting at the same time, it's a very hard thing to do that in my opinion. I was introduced to them by Cosmic Castaway on the Titan AE soundtrack, I would certainly say buy that movie too!!! But that's not the point to this, this is an amazing group, but I must admit that I can mostly relate to Morning Afterglow because I had a similar experience with a girl, and could really relate to that song. I love this group and would definately suggest them.

Electrasy Scores!,
By A Customer
This review is from: In Here We Fall (Audio CD)
I first learned of Electrasy when I saw them open for another band in the Los Angeles area. I was so impressed I bought this CD the next morning and listened to it as I traveled to a city several hours away to see them live again. In Here We Fall is rock n' roll at it's best...hard driving, melodic, and versitile. Electrasy blends a wide variety of influences to create something totally unique and quite refreshing in today's stagnant music scene. My favorite tracks are Foot Soldiers, Bussed Out, Naked, Morning Afterglow, and Dazed and Confused. An amazing CD..no collection is complete without it.

The Best CD I have heard in Years,

Well what can i say? Stunning! Excellent and many more words like that. I have known of Electrasy for a few years now as I used to live in England. They are great live. This cd is very different from their first cd, Beautiful Insane. Also a remarkable album. Very diverse. I have been waiting for In Here We Fall for some time. I was not dissapointed. From the first song, Renegades through to the last, Cry. I was impressed. It is a well produced well balanced cd. I think it is the future sound that will be imitated by many. Some die hard Led Zepplin fans may not initially like the cover of Dazed and Confused but if they listen with an open mind they will soon come to realise it is a worthy interpretation. The multimedia section is also very good giving you the video for Morning Afterglow. All together this is a very complete cd that will be a central part of anyone's music collection for years to come. If you go to Electrasy.org follow the link to the disks section you can here 30 second clips from the songs. But you really need to hear the whole cd to appreciate the big picture. Well done Electrasy and I am now looking forward to hearing the songs live. Chris Soothill

A Must-have,

I have never listened to such a divers collection of excellent songs. This album is a much needed break from the repetitiveness of pop music today. Every song on this CD is full of emotion while simultaneously creating a complex musical depth with innovative instrumental techniques that has this incredibly talented band at the top of the game. 5 stars is not enough for this album, which is the only album that I thoroughly enjoy listening to from beginning to end. Kudos to Nigel and the rest of the band!

I can't believe that there is actually someone with a new unique sound out there that I like. I mean this album doesn't ever get old, i love the Song's Cosmic Castaway, Angel, and Cry. If you are looking for a new sound to nod your head to, check this album out, it should get a 10 out of 10, but they only give you 5 as a high choice.

Best of all Worlds!,

I can't believe some of the flak that this album is getting. I almost didn't get it. I can tell you right off that there is such a variety of music styles presented in this album that some of the songs may not appeal to you at first, but every single song has a great chorus (Dazed and Confused my person exception, Foot Soldierz may be a strange exception to some). Renegade- It sounds like a rap song at first, but it isn't. It all comes together in the chorus when they switch to a great rock sequence. It definately wouldn't consider this rap. Awesome song. Naked- A distant, dreamy type of song at first. Would really apply to the outcast type of person. Again, music switches from a slow song to a great rock chorus. Morning Afterglow- Along with Cry this is the slowest song on the album and probably the most popular. In my opinion, it isn't the best song, or even second or third best. It does give the album that slower feel and great song all the same. Dazed and Confused- Probably my least favorite, just for the fact that most of the song is sort of blah. I couldn't help but laugh when I heard it first. It is funny. Bussed Out- Love this song for the chorus. One of my favorites. Starts slower, gets better. Cosmic Castaway- Probably second behind Morning Afterglow in popularity, this is my absolute favorite song on this album. More than likely this song introduced you to Electrasy (it did me) and it never gets old. Special Forces- Creepy beginning. Great chorus. Another excellent song. Foot Soldierz- This is the one song that might give people second thoughts about this album. Personally, I like it. It is by far the hardest piece and the message it presents is somewhat warped (not why I like the song, by the way). You have to listen to it more than once before you make a strong judgement on it. It grows on you really quickly. They do scream at the end. I'm still trying to get over that. Sounds like it would fit in a Need For Speed game. In Here We Fall- Another somewhat slow song. Not one of my favorites, but good all the same. Angel- Love this song. Starts with a nice piano opening and gradually escalates into its excellent chorus. Another one of my favorite on this album. Cry- Sad song. Slow song. Nice song. In contrast with some of the other songs here, it is a nice finish to the album.

Solid British Rock,
By Jason Goldman-Hall (Chico, CA USA) - See all my reviews

I recently saw Electrasy open for Buckcherry in my town, and I bought the CD at the show. The show was incredible. The band swaggered with all the clout of a major group and the lead singer had the cocky British attitude of Mick Jagger or the Gallagher brothers. The CD is purely amazing. Dazed and Confused is awesome, as is Morning and Foot Soldierz. This is a great buy for anyone interested in raw, hard, but melodic British rock. I highly recommend it, and I recommend trying to see them live sometime, you won't be dissapointed.
