The second book in the series (The first being "Descendants") continues the story of Kutch a "regular guy" who starts out with an inexplicable passion and curiosity that sparks an entirely unexpected journey which helps him understand more about the universe than what the official "corporate" story has told.

"Hereditary Evil" takes you along for more of Kutch's wild ride, as he haphazardly begins developing his own skills and abilities with his new-found understandings about reality. This path leads him into many dangerous and thrilling adventures as he tries to answer his growing list of questions.

Mark T. Bacome tells stories in such a way that you feel as though you are "riding shotgun" at every suspensful turn, developing the realistic human feelings of his characters as he goes.

This series will grab your attention and suck you in.

This is a very interesting sci-fi book with good character development. It is set in the far distant future when humans are ever more dependent on technology and shows how far artificial intelligence could go. I have really enjoyed reading it and the book that came before it, Descendants.

The second book in the series is as great as the first one. The development of the characters has carried on making them even more real, 3-dimensional and so relatable to. The main plot and the sub plots are will woven by a Master Story Teller that makes you fill like you should be helping them or ducking as things happen to them. These are books that can be re-read over and over following a different character or following different plot lines. I was so involved in the story that I did not see the end coming and then when it did end I wanted more. Cannot wait for the next one.
