I first heard The Answers when my mum brought it back from
Guyana about 20 years ago. It is a truly stunning album and is part of my history.
I was shocked to see this available as i've been seraching for my own copy for many a year.
Once you've experienced these tunes you'll not be able to deny what a great album this is.
I've played this to many people of all ages and all have sat there in awe at the the greatness of this album.

First heard this album in Malaya 1966. But was not able to purchase it,,
Now at long last i do possess this great music superb in all aspects I can listen to it over and over again.

This is an excellent album I have been looking for it for about six years since I lent the cassette to a friend and never got it back. This is my absolute favorite Oldies album. Thank you guys for finding it for me

What you get here is Skeeter at her brilliant best; delivering the answer songs to some of the biggest hits of that era; sung with that passion and feeling that Skeeter is noted for. This combination of solid hits followed by (in some cases) a witty answer, is sure to take you right back down memory lane to that cosy time in your past. Cuts deserving special mention are, "My Last Date", "Tell Tommy I Miss Him", and "I'm Fallin' Too".

had this album in 1962 ,lost it and could not find it until now awesome tunes

Skeeter Davis offers an interesting twist of this his-her album. With great vocals, this album offers some old favorites and original Skeeter songs. Excellent.

It took a while before I could finally make a copy my own. Being a fan its quite frustrating and hard to believe that this disc is no longer in production.
I'm sure that it still would sell. Skeeter has so many fans worldwide that it, in my opinion, could still sell for years!
Now many (fans and others) cannot enjoy (unless you are prepared to pay a lot for a used CD) this outstanding album with masterpieces sung by this lovely lady and some of the best country singers of all time!
If you are (even a tiny bit) willing to pay that high price for a used CD however, I'd say: do it, this is one mighty album you don't want to miss in your collection.

As a teen ager in the mid 60's this was my favorite album - some of the best early country western performances coupled with the angelic 2 part harmony in each "answer" by Skeeter. I have searched for this album on CD for months. It was well worth the search!! A must for any fan of early country/pop and/or Skeeter Davis - at her best!!!!

We've had this album in the family since I was a little kid(I'm 50 ).We went through 2 copies. I still have the last copy in my possesion(and the vinyl is mint!). I was tickled to death to be able to purchase this cd. It holds a lot of great memories for me and a lot of Skeeter's answer songs are even better than the originals. If you can pick up this cd I want to tell you you're in for a great musical treat! Now if someone would only reissue the ORIGINAL 1963 album The End Of The World(the late 60's camden reissue is out on collectables).
