5.0 out of 5 stars Sitting on "The Edge of Wetness.", February 7, 2005

After the death of Johnny Carson I searched high and low for a book on his life and career. Fortunatley, I found this book written by Stephen Cox. This is probably the most definitive book that will ever be written, unless Ed McMann or someone else from his show biz family write their own. Great pictures abound in this volume and great trivia as well. This book is a must for all of us greiving Carson-ites and those who have yet to be converted.

5.0 out of 5 stars Here's Johnny is a must have book!, July 20, 2005
This review is from: Here's Johnny!: Thirty Years of America's Favorite Late-Night Entertainer (Paperback)
With the passing of this legend, this book is a must-have for all Johnny Carson fans, as well as The Tonight Show fans. You'll feel as though you're sitting in the seat next to Johnny, drinking out of a white mug and elbowing Ed McMahon. Author Stephen Cox really shines with this book! Here's the best Tonight Show book you'll ever read!

Okay....maybe not *everything* but there is a whole lot of wonderful information packed into this book. Stephen Cox has done a great job of compiling so many annecdotes and facts about Johnny and his "Tonight Show" years. On top of that, he even scored a telephone interview with Carson himself, no small accomplishment! With Johnny's passing, this book takes on a deeper importance and this effort will not disappoint!
