You probably need to live around or be from the Hayward/Castro Valley/Tri-Valley Area to really appreciate this book. The Rowell Ranch Rodeo grounds are a landmark along Interstate 580, formerly the old Highway 50 corridor, and every spring there is a big event which consists of the rodeo parade, barbecue, and the rodeo itself. In addition to that, though, this book contains a lot of local history and super photographs. I think it's great!
