More About the Author

Leon J. Radomile, renowned among Italian-American authors, has had a life-long love of history. Born in Philadelphia in 1949 of Italian parents, he moved with his family to San Francisco at the age of nine. In 1972 he graduated from the University of San Francisco with a degree in history. In 1999, as a businessman and entrepreneur, he began writing and publishing his own Italian culture books beginning with the best-selling bilingual Heritage Italian-American Style.
He followed that success with Heritage Hispanic-American Style in 2003. Becoming involved in genealogical research began as a recurring daydream of his Italian ancestors and grew into this fictional Renaissance adventure based on the Battle of Lepanto in 1571. Happily married to Lanette since 1975, he has two daughters, Lea Linda and Alexandra Marie, and is looking forward to spinning tales for his grandchildren.

5.0 out of 5 stars Smorgasbord of Italian American Historical Tidbits, May 31, 2002

This review is from: Heritage Italian-American Style Bilingual (2nd Edition) (Paperback)
If there is only one book in your Library about Italian Americans, (and I certainly hope not), it should be "Heritage-Italian American Style". Although I use it as a Reference Book, It is also very rewarding to sit and read, since it a sumptuous smorgasbord of tidbits for the mind.

It would make the IDEAL GIFT !!!! for Teens (and Adults) who value their heritage, but are not sure why.

With adjacent Italian Translation, it also enriches your Italian Language skills.

It makes possible a wonderful Family Quiz Game.

THE book for Italians, and those who wish they were!

This book covers in brief fashion the Italian and Italian-American contributions to Western Civilization. It is a great way to improve one's Italian or English reading ability because of its bilingual format.
