I bought this CD for a couple songs and ended up liking most of them. All are updated versions that are very well played and produced. Just really nicely done. If you want the originals then you need to get the "Country Boy" CD which is remastered and also very well produced.

I have been a George Hamilton IV fan for 25 or more years and hadn't listened to anything by him in the past few years until I got this CD. This is an absolutely wonderful CD. George was always a great crooner who could sing the songs of love and other moving topics. Now his voice is showing some age on these mostly acoustic tracks, but just the right amount to add that extra character and depth. CD comes with great info on the song selections too.

I ordered this CD especially for "A Rose and A Baby Ruth". I was very disappointed because the version did not sound like the original 1957 version did when I heard it on the radio. Thank you very much.
