Castor oil, or "palma christi" is a natural product that helps (not only with intestinal cleansing) but, also addresses other illnesses. In fact, when my parents were young, my grandparents used a tablespoon of nasty-tasting castor oil tackle any sicknesses. Also, in Indian Ayurvedic medicine, castor oil is also used for seasonal, internal cleansing.

The Heritage brand is a forty-year old, holistic company that adheres to the health readings of prophet Edgar Cacye. The company's owner Johnson, Tom Johnson, started his Virginia Beach, Va. company in 1969. Their leader was once a computer engineer for M&M's candy, and after reading Cayce's book, "The Sleeping Prophet," he believed in Cacye immediately. He joined the nonprofit group based on Cacye's readings called "The Association for Research and Enlightenment."

Heritage cold presses their castor oil -- meaning they do not use hexane chemicals to extract the oil. This oil is not only good for castor oil packs. Castor oil is good for oil cleansing the face, and for dissolving blackheads, whiteheads and pimples if used directly on the blemish. Also, it's also great for cleansing the scalp and getting rid of cysts. Another great use is to seal in moisture in the hair.

Heritage is one of the best brands. I used castor oil packs to get rid of a nine-month long inflammation of a displaced gland (before it was surgically corrected). Over-the-counter medicine didn't help with the pain, nor did prescription medicine, but the packs did the trick.

This is a great product. I am using it to clean my face and it works amazingly.
