This book is written by five authors, and contains a wealth of information in an easy-to-read format. The chapter summaries are succinct and the index are glossary are complete and useful. I haven't had any occasion to fire up the disc that comes with it--the disc is a nice option, but you'll be absolutely fine without one (unless your class happens to require it). One of the best textbooks I've had occasion to own.

My book that I ordered was sent promptly to me. Considering the price of the textbook, I received it in remarkably good condition.

It took me a little while to get it, but I got it on time, very useful book in the conditions I pay for, just what I needed, a book I can use for a class without worrying too much about the price. The difference between the 7th edition and the other editions is almost non, and the price was excellent, so I am ordering for this new semester more used books under 10 dollars.

I got this book for my History from 1500 to present class. It was one of my first ordered books to come in and got here just in time for quizzes to start. It was in good condition and beat the school's book store by a huge margin.

This text functions well as a textbook, but does little to capture attention and feels like work. For some reason the authors focus heavily on religion which manages to be represented almost every page. The included DVD has a clunky interface, but houses a wealth of information.

I have read this world history from 1500 to present(2008) from cover to cover and back to front. I studied every map, special feature, and foot note and found no errors or mispelled words. It is excellent for home study and entertainment. I am 80, wear bifocals, and live in Woodville, Texas fifty miles from the nearest college. I also read and re-read Volume I (to 1600) several times over the last ten years for both reference and entertainment. Using HAIL MARY 1961, Wikipedia for reference, and direct quotations from the Gideon King James Bible, I have written and published 41 full length novels in the last ten years and am currently working on number 42 (MANY MANSIONS). Arrived on time as described. However, my PAPERBACK textbook was packaged in a plastic bag and folded over to conviently fit in my mailbox- not the best condition. All well, got what i payed for.

The book was delivered in a timely manner, however i did not appreciate the huge advertisement stickers placed on the front cover, as well as the inside, of the book.

The transartion was parfect, method of payment good, delivering of product was on time as promised.and product arrieved in very good condition. I intend to use sit again.
