This series of books is for children with autism but it works extremely well for elementary English Language Learners. My wife uses it in her classroom with great results! The illustrations are engaging and she said she seldom has students be so attentive with a new book. They want to read about Herman over and over again.

This review is from: Herman's Hiding Places: Discovering Up, In, Under and Behind (Hardcover)
Just like the other Herman book "who took my shoe", this book easily explains concepts - in this case it is in, out, over, under, etc. It is so cute and funny. The expressions on the character's face are so real. It's great for young kids or children of all ages who have trouble understanding directionality concepts. It's great for those on the Autism spectrum, for those who have information processing issues or for anyone.
