my Grandson is 4 1/2 LOVES Thomas and the to the exclusion of other toys. When he has a sleepover with me, it is his favorite story. It is a wonderful story about kindness, support of others and a lesson to be learned by a not nice train! do enjoy

This book is very poorly constructed, and is NOT a "hardcover" as labeled. The binding consists of paper pages sandwiched between two thin cardboard covers which are STAPLED together. Then an adhesive decorative paper is used to cover the staples and act as the "spine" of the book. The poor binding makes opening the book and reading it an unpleasant experience. Its...

I purchased this for my two and a half year old so that he would have a reference prior to seeing the Hero of the Rails video. It paralells it very well and he was very excited to see it once he really understood the story. It has just enough imaginary drama to keep it interesting.

Christmas gift for my 5 year old grandson. Was one of the biggest hits for gifts of Christmas. Even my 2 granddaughters (ages 2 and 4) love it. After watching the video, they playact the video. They assign parts and play like the characters. They love it.

My 2 year old won't stop watching this one. I like this type of Thomas movie rather than the older ones where the people don't move, etc. My son can follow this story line, well done, bright colors.

If your children are Thomas fans, then you HAVE to have this movie!!!
The story line is great and the animation is fabulous!!! The new character that is introduced is kind and gentle and really brings out the best in Thomas!!
