The case is great for protecting the phone but the clip is garbage. I tossed the clip and use the case. it fits perfectly and is very slim fitting.

I have brought a few cases for my HTC Hero (Sprint) phone and this case is by far the best I have used. The case comes with two pieces and you just snap them together.

First off, I had one of those silicon/ribber cases that just slips over the phone. I didn't like the silicon type case because when you put your phone out of in your pocket, your entire pocket comes undone. This case doesn't grip your pocket like the silicon ones. Very happy about the feel and texture of the case.

Second, the case doesn't add much thickness to the phone. The phone is already thin so that helps.

Third, I have had the case for approximately one month and it still looks brand new. It doesn't get scratched by the everyday wear and tear.

There are two factors that I don't like about this case:
(1) On the back of the phone there is a hole that's used for a belt clip. The location of the hole is elevated so when you place your phone on the table, the phone rocks back and forth. I wish it didn't have that.
(2) The case is easy to put on but difficult to take off. You have to insert your fingernail in between the two pieces to separate the clip.

Overall, I am very happy with this case and I recommend it to anyone who has the HTC Hero (Sprint) phone. Much better than the 20-30 dollar cases sold at the stores/mall.

This is by far the best $$ i have spent on a case. It has saved my phone several times specially when i forgot my phone was in lap and i got out of the car. The phone flew about 3feet and not a scratch on the phone.

A MUST GET!

This case fits perfectly for my HTC Hero and protects it from scratches. The delivery was very fast, and you simply cannot beat the price. Don't bother spending $20-30 at the Sprint store for a case - get this one instead! I recommend without any reservations.

The case came fast, but the case I got was already chipped even though it was new. When I put it on my hero, the right side would not stay on and did not fit together cleanly. I'm guessing that I just got unlucky, as there are other good reviews. Its only 3 bucks, but buy at your own risk!

EDIT:
I received a refund for the order very fast, even though I never even emailed the seller to ask for one. The seller just gave me the refund, which is why I bumped the rating up to 3 stars for excellent customer service. So I guess although it is a gamble whether you get a good case, you can at least get a refund if you get a bad one!

Snaps together tightly around the phone. Has smooth, rubbery feel which improves grip. Leaves easy access to all exterior phone buttons and ports. Get this case.

I liked the design of it and the price. I tend to be rough on stuff so I bought two of them. I cracked the first one by being too rough on it. I will buy another one if I need to.

Just got my HTC hero Black Rubber Feel Hard Case Cover and it dosen't stay together!! Don't waste your money and time. I do not recommended this product at all!! Not happy!!!

I'm not sure what the negative reviews for this case are all about. It fits my HTC Hero phone perfectly, and snapped together easily. It also comes apart easily (using a fingernail or small flat-head screwdriver), but did not come apart the one time I did drop the phone (though only time will tell). I'm surprised so many people are complaining about it - especially since it only cost a quarter.
