It's difficult to say if a song is timeless, but ten years later, I could say already. Times have changed, beats, tempos, lyrics have taken the trend of club hits. Enrique now has songs like "I like it" and "Tonight I'm lovin' you." Mr. Iglesias continues to give us hit after hit.

However, this song is nostalgic already, even just after just ten years.

My thoughts:

- Wonderful pace. The instrumentals, pauses, soft and high notes are perfect and timed well. Many songs are repetitive but you don't sense that from this song. The lyrics and chorus may be similar, but the tone and his voice definitely transforms throughout the song, building with tension, emotion, and heartfelt love.

- Fun to sing out aloud. I sing this song every time I go to a karaoke place. So easy to follow and sing a long. Lots of fun!

- Solid lyrics. Full of metaphors, variety, and rhythm, this song will take you away.
