Super DC Heroes Deluxe Muscle Chest Superman Child's Costume, Small

I expected this costume to be like the Power Ranger and Spiderman Muscle costumes that I purchased in previous years. It is not. This costume's muscles are made out of cardboard (power ranger and spiderman is stuffing), and was very uncomfortable. On Halloween when we put it on my son, we ended up having to cut some of the neck out because it was so uncomfortable.

My son just turned four and LOVES superman. He was so excited when we got this costume! Overall, it's pretty cute. He says he feels super strong with the built-in muslces, and has been running all over the house saving the day.
Pros: It seems fairly well made. My son has been wearing it around the house for a few days now, and I see no seem issues.
Cons: The sizing is a little off in our case. My son is tall for his age, and though this costume says small is for four to six year olds, there are a couple of inches hanging off of the boots - seems way too big for a four year old. The cape is also a little uncomfortable, as the weight drags it back against my son's neck. While running around the house I see him pulling at it frequently, but he doesn't want to take off his superhero cape!

I recently purchased this for my 2 1/2 year old son to wear on Halloween. He has been wearing it twice a day, every day since it arrived in the mail. It's a huge success and he loves it. Pretty well made. It does make him hot, though. The muscles are firm and lined with thin foam.

My 3 year old son absolutely loved this costume. He just turned three and is tall and thin and this fit him perfectly. The costume looks great, but unfortunately the quality is a little on the low end . . . I had to cut off about 20 stray threads in the first couple of times he wore it. Even still, I would absolutely buy this product again. My son had the time of his life pretending he was superman.

My son ( 26 Months) wore this to a costume birthday party last week and was a HUGE hit!
It runs small so know that when ordering...again...order correctly so you don't blame the company!!!
The velcro to tie the cape...bothered him a bit around the neck so we had him take that off after he made his grand entrance...
I will have that fixed...before he wears it again...which will probably be only once since they grow like weeds :o)
Fun was had by all...and now he knows all about Super Heroes!

Fits a little big, but that just gives him room to grow. Seems pretty durable and has no tears or pulls after 3 weeks of heavy wear. Hand washing is a pain, but what can you do. Muscles are stiff, but soft. My son loves it and wears it every chance he gets.

I really thought this was... is a great costume, unfortunately the size for toddler was really big across the chest and leg height. I should have shopped more at different stores before buying it online because I found it cheaper there and my son could have tried it on. I would recommend you to look at the store first because the costume size specifications is off. The price through amazon was at least $10 more and I end up loosing money by returning it. Overall I thought it was great! Oh well, I'll look for sales after Halloween!

side note: keep a close eye on the picture for the costumes. Some of them photoshop/paste a toddler's head on a bigger kid's body.

My 4 year old loves his costume and it is as it looks in picture. The muscle are made out of some hard foamy thing not cardboard which is good. However it does look like it will rip after a few times wearing it.

I got this for my grandson's 3rd birthday. I had previously gotten the Batman one and it was a huge hit, so I was pretty confident about this one too. He looks adorable in it. It fits perfectly and unlike the Batman one there is no mask to annoy him. Now I think I need to order Spiderman!

This costume had the desired effect when shown to and worn by our 4 year old. Really good value and great fun.
