This book is a wonderful tool to help people like me sharpen up on their knowledge of amazing Christians throughout history. It is written in easy to understand language that keeps you engaged. There are 13 brief biographies on various men and women, who have lived out there faith, in this inspiring book. This is a must read for anyone who wants to re-ignite a passion to follow the Lord.

This is a good book of limited Christian biographies. Some stories are more detailed than others, but it is a nice sampling to give you a taste of the respected lives of some heroes of the faith who have come before this generation. Communication and shipping are just as promised by the vendor.

This group of true accounts of God's hand working in the lives of "regular" men and women who love Him is wonderful. Very inspirational... a must read for TODAY! God is still at work in the lives of men!

I am not quite finished reading this book, but I am enjoying it very much. It is great to read of real heroes in the Christian faith. It is also encouraging to see that everyone can have troubles but they can rise above those troubles and become heroes to encourage others. Even in death many of these heroes are still living on and being a light to others to "keep on keeping on". We are to all race for the prize which is eternal life through Jesus Christ.
