Leehom only gets better and better. This is the second "chinked-out" style album by Leehom. The songs in the cd are all very good. His style is so unique as compared to other Chinese singers. The best thing about him is his songs are full of surprises. He does have a certain style, but his songs won't give you this feeling that he's repeating himself, every song is different and you'll just never get tired of them. He also got Jin (winner of Best Rapper in America for 7 years) to write AND rap this little part in the song "Heroes of Earth". Parts of this song are also done by some renowned traditional Chinese singers. Another song "Perfect mix" featured Korean pop singers Rain and Lim JeongHee, the song is as promised by its name, the perfect mix. The last track on the album is a song written by Leehom's fans, who sang the song with Leehom. My recommendations are (excuse me for the bad english names cuz I'm basically translating it literally from the Chinese name):"Da cheng xiao ai" (Big City Small Love), "Hua Tian Cuo" (Flower farm wrong?hee* i think its some old Chinese story), "Gai shi ying xiong" (Heroes of Earth), "Kiss Goodbye" and "Di yi ge qing chen" (First Morning).

I really enjoyed listening to this CD, and the cheap price made it all the more worth it.

All the songs on this CD are great. If you can get the DVD to accompany the CD, you'd appreciate the musician and his songs even more. I don't speak or understand the language (I'm trying to learn)but you don't really need to when the music is this good. Seriously, Leehom is so gifted.

Chinese music lovers need this CD. Yet, even those who don't understand Chinese will fall in love with Leehom's amazing voice. You don't need to know Chinese to love this CD.

I think this is easily Leehom's best album. The second track, "Mistake in the Flower Field," alone, makes the whole album worthwhile. It has quickly become my favorite song of all time. Everything about it is perfect, and not a single note can be made better. This album is also unique because it probably has the strongest "chinked-out" flavor.

Lee Hom fan here. He's a truly intelligent and talented musician. I'm listening to his latest concert CD (not the one sold here) of the same title and it was a truly amazing concert. He really knows how to hype up a crowd and make a song flow smoothly from one to the next. In this CD here, it took awhile for me to like at first, but now, I think I know every song on this CD. My favorite track is number 2 (a fast beat song), although tracks 1 (fast beat song) and 7 (slow song) are just as nice. Tracks 3, 4, and 6 are popular among other people (maybe because they're more promoted) and they're not bad as well. But I have to recommend the concert CD instead because you can hear him live and get a taste of his other great songs if you haven't heard his music before.

Oh yeah, and if you want to buy this CD, get it at an online retailer (YesAsia or MalMusic), or an online auction site, because the price that Amazon is charging is exorbitant. I got this album at half the price charged here. ;)

Lehom has always emphasized his culture in his music. Being an American-born Chinese, Lehom now makes hit music in Taiwan. And his music ranges from hip hop to r&b to pop. On this album, his production contains mainly of the opera music of China, and he stated that he wanted foreign listeners who can't understand Chinese to instantly identify his music as "Chinese music" when listenind to them. This music style is called "chinked-out", says Lehom. On one of his songs features the guest appearance of Jin, who is know by most American hip hop fans. It was a dreat collabo. Well, most Americans, I know, can't understand these songs, but I still recommend this album, because it's just great. Hope everybody get to know my culture. Hope everybody get to know that not all Asians are nurds who do nothing but study. We Asians are tight music makers, too. Peace out!
