Heroes of which?,
By
This review is from: Heroes Of The Revolution: American Cars and Cuban Beats (Hardcover)
Funny(or sad)That David Bull/Bull Publishing carries this or anyone,People tend to forget the embargo(which should stay)has nothing to do with oppression(compared to The Regime's oppression) As the Regime trades freely With Canada,Europe,China and Venezuela who are accomplices of such misery that's the only reason Cars from the era are stuck in a time warp not just out of nostalgia or love for cars but of necessity, that is of course you can buy one from the owner of such an classic, the cds included represent music sanctioned by the regime, nothing is good about Buena Vista Social Club, unless we mistake what the social means. these are has-beens who never were good only to be propped up by Non-Cuban accomplices who apologize for freedom of speech, lack of free market and the tyranny that rocks the island for over 50 years, there are already many photographic journeys and books/dvds about the cars, but the situation,NO.Because the State will not let it happen,And as for heroes are we talking the ones who sent over 14,000+ to El Paredon?(firing squad)

A Very Cool CD!,
By
This review is from: Heroes Of The Revolution mini: American Cars And Cuban Beats (Hardcover)
The Book and CD sound kind of gimmicky but rest assured both are great. When I ordered it I figured I'd get a cool book with neat old car photos and a lame-o CD. Not so! The music is very good! A fun item!

It is a pity that a good photographic material is loost in a deficient printing. The paper is porous and it make photos look dim.
