A totally moving book with substance and stamina. Sheisty politicians, corrupt cops, and meniacal drug dealers are no match for this fiesty heroine. A true page turner and a poignant good versus evil classic. If you are looking for good street book this one will do. But be warned this is a one day read. so feed the kids and bed them early. because this one will have you up til you finish. can't wait for Mr. Mitchell's next book. Ten Stars.

I really enjoyed reading Heroine. This is my second book by this author. I was not disappointed at all. It was good from the beginning to the end.

The author did a great job with this book it was one of the best I have read and I have read way too many books. I read this book in one day could not put it down. The action, suspense and the ending was great.

I REALLY DID ENJOY THIS BOOK,IT WAS A GREAT READ!!!!!!!!IT HAD A LOT OF ACTION, SUSPENSE,AND A SURPRISE AT THE END!!! TO THE AUTHOR A GREAT JOB WELL DONE!!!!!!

If this was a book about do as you say, say what you mean and do. It really will be double standing there.

About Samara that was a assassin that justfly her killing as doing good but, she talks about it to the young group as being bad. But, she use her killing as to get back at those that cause her or people she love harm.

Samara wanted to change the black community by opening up a center for the young group of kids to help them to get off the streets to stop selling drugs and killing each other. It starts off ok but, killing came coming to her center door steps even in the center that cause a lot of people to have a grudge against her from the start due that she has something going on to help the community but, they didn't like that. That what cause the set up in her center.

Samara is a great smart girl with a great educationally background but, she just can't get that assassin side of her out due to her dad teaching her all she needed to know.

Overall book is ok if you into that type of politicians and government stuff.
