Lauren Agony (who also writes as Jan Springer) is the pseudonym for an award winning best selling author who writes erotic romance and romantic suspense at a secluded cabin nestled in the Haliburton Highlands, Ontario, Canada.

What can I say? I find the gratuitous use of the F and C words jarring, taking the reader out of the story. For people on another world, they use earth swear words and have such imaginative names as Annie, Cath and Jacey. Yes the housewives next door. The writer does not have a clear vision of the new planet and seems to add things just for shock value - yes the new world ruled by women kills off women at menopause (ho hum). And the writer even says "just like science fiction and Logan's Run" once again jarring us out of the story. Annie, our heroine, is a sad weak character who is dominated by just about everyone in the book - no, wait she is dominated by everyone. She goes from being dominated by females (emotionally and sexually) to hoping that the hero will take her with him at the end. By the way she falls in love with him because he has a large member. One dimensional characters in a one dimensional world. I honestly believe that everyone has the ability to write - but some shouldn't be allowed to - Somebody stop them!

I found this book to be so well written, it kept me wanting to read more and know what was to happen next. Jan Springer and Lauren Agony sure know how to write. I look forward to reading more of their books.
