If you are a brand new learner without calluses, they could be helpful to extend your learning time. However, they generally get in the way. What I like better is to paint my fingertips with LiquidBandage, NUSkin or New Skin. It doesn't get in the way as much and give just a little more string time.

They aren't as helpful as I thought they would be. The hardened tips didn't conform to my fingertips so I couldn't slide well. The material has the same consistency as a latex glove excluding the tips. Given that, they aren't tearing or anything, and they protect your fingers from when they're too sore.

Good for relieving pressure but not good for sliding at all. Bought these to try for my finger that has a screw in the tip from an accident. Helps with the pressure but not economical if you plan on playing more than one chord. So I would not recommend them to anyone. It is basically a rubber tip that grips instead of slides.

It is fine to play melodies with it, but playing chords when wearing it touches other string and mute some strings.

They look like the will help but don't bother. they take away the feel of the strings and as a novice player they
make your fingers feel bigger so it's harder to get a clean sound from the strings.

Though these do offer some finger protection, they also do not give you a feel for the strings. I also find that they interfere with the adjacent string.

It has been a bit awkward to play the guitar with these on my finger tips...Will try to give to a newer player.

Absolutely garbage. I used them once...there first get condoms with a sticker on the tips of them that rubs off. They do squat for padding or aiding against finger soreness. I play 4 hour shows and longer and they did nothing. I demand a refund!

I had already used finger protectors used for covering stitches on finger tips,...that works better than these because of the pads on the tips of these. but still,...LOL!!! I bought a set!!!
