4.0 out of 5 stars Hershey's 1934 Cookbook Review, August 11, 2000
From the steppes of Siberia to the plains of the Serengeti, rare indeed is the person, young or old, who has not heard of Hershey's chocolate! It could be the best known product in the world. The Hershey Company was founded by Milton Hershey in Pennsylvania in the late 1800's, and quickly grew to become an international phenomenon. Here is Hershey's 1934 Cookbook, the distillation of their hard-won expertise in all things chocolate. It covers the entire spectrum of chocolate know how, from the history of chocolate, the preparation of the primary products, and the various forms that chocolate takes to a stunning variety of chocolate recipes. For anyone who likes chocolate, and who doesn't, this is a treasurehouse of a cookbook.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth it just for the pudding but all around great!, February 16, 2005
If you have only had store bought chocolate pudding you have not tasted what pudding should be. True, it will take more effort, but once you have tried it (especially warm with bread and butter to dip) you will never call that other stuff pudding again. Lots of great recipes in this one.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great whimsical book, January 20, 2012
If you are looking for a great, whimsical book then you have to pickup a copy. It's cute to see the original recipes and some of the old pictures too.

If you love chocolate you have to get this book! Brownies, Almond Nuggets, Pecan Pralines, Butterscotch Pie... all using chocolate. You can't go wrong.
