This was our first "subtraction" book and it did a great job of introducing the concept in a fun way. The story is basic enough for a counter but advances slowly into beginning math and introduces more advanced subtraction, like negative values. We have the Hershey Kisses Addition book also. We love them both - Great colorful pictures.

I used this book for two subtraction lessons. One in English and one bilingual. Teh children loved the fact that the book "had" candy. It makes it more concrete and easier for them to learn the concept.Great book!!!
