Hestia, Radiant and Unseen, December 12, 2002
This review is from: Hestia Come Home (Paperback)
This is a truly glorious book, and one which sings......
"Hestia Come Home" is Jerrilee Cain's eloquent Jungian study, odyssey and profoundly poetic personal memoir about the healing and nurturing presence in our lives of the ancient, silent and unseen deity or archetypal presence, Hestia.
Hestia's flame and her circular hearth represent our deepest desires for connection - to home and community, to the natural world of which we are part, to Life itself. Ancient, silent and invisible as She is, Hestia is a powerful force in our world, and She promises us comfort, healing, and a way home.
A remarkable book, and one which has a place of honour in my library.
