This review is from: Heston Blumenthal: The Biography of the World's Most Brilliant Master Chef (Paperback)
I just finished reading Heston's Fantastical Feasts and was eager to start this book and get to know how he became the amazing Master Chef he is today. It's ironic that the cover shows Heston Blumenthal in front of a lit pot because the author thoroughly failed to capture any of HB's "flame." The book is dull and the authors writing style is flat out drab. I love to read, especially when it involves cooking/baking [I own personally more then 75 cookbooks, a few chef biography's & books on their experiences] This one is going out the door as soon as I can get it off my hands. Please save your money if you still want to read it go to the library do not waste your money. I am obviously just one person and you may not share my opinion but to me this book is no more then kindling...
