The Hewlett-Packard 9600si provides an internal SCSI solution for writing and rewriting custom CDs. Featuring 12x write, 8x rewrite, and 32x read speeds, a generous 4 MB buffer, and disc access times of 125 milliseconds, this drive allows you to quickly store up to 700 MB of data or 80 minutes of audio on high-capacity CDs. With HP's CD Creation and Fast Format software included with the drive, you can use your CD-Writer like a floppy or hard drive and drag and drop files from Windows Explorer or any application to disc. Additional software enables disaster-recovery archiving of your entire hard drive and management of your digital music collection.

Hewlett-Packard provides a one-year warranty on this drive.
