The Hewlett-Packard Color LaserJet 4500N is a hefty workhorse for office habitats that need a large-capacity color printer. Hewlett-Packard accomplishes this by offering advanced HP Image Resolution Enhancement technology (HP ImageREt 2400) and 600 dpi resolution for four pages per minute in full color and 16 pages per minute for black. Combining 400-sheet capacity and rapid printing with automatic color calibration ensures consistent, high-quality printing and color over the life of the printer, in diverse environmental settings and between printers.

Two paper trays (and an optional third) support Hewlett-Packard Color LaserJet 4500N's impressive input capacity of 400 sheets and 250-sheet output. Printing a full range of professional stationary and envelopes (No. 10 and Monarch) plus transparencies and labels is assisted by the new expanded control panel messages to identify potential issues and recommend solutions. Another benefit is that the toner cartridges installs quickly with no mess and no mistakes. The LaserJet 4500 is compatible with optional duplexing and networking accessories.

The Hewlett-Packard Color LaserJet 4500N is compatible with Windows and Macintosh, and comes with a one-year onsite warranty. HP ColorSmart II automatically furnishes optimal color settings with industry standard sRGB color management. I am a long-time fan of HP printers. Their laser printers are durable and dependable - definitely worth the investment. The Color LaserJet 4500 is no exception. This is my first color laser printer & it's hard not to be excited about the print quality. It is infinitely better than the inkjets. It enables you to turn out a very professional product without going to an outside print shop.

Color laser jet 4500 has consistently been dependable with good color rendition and nice crisp fonts. The printer was easy to install and works well in a network situation. At first I was worried about the cost of color printing and concerned about having to replace the color cartriges frequently. Constant color cartrige replacement is why I hated the ink jet printer. I am over 8,000 pages, most with color pictures and only now am I replacing the drum and the black cartrige. The only negative I have is the excessive warm up time. Good printer

The color that prints out is absolutely picture perfect. We used this printer to make our brochures. It was really worth the cost.
