The camera is OK -- 640x480 resolution -- but doesn't have a flash, which is critical for indoor use. Also, since it takes up the Compact Flash slot, I had to delete several programs out of main memory to store photos. ....

The camera is easy to set up and use with nice features for taking pictures. It does use a lot of power from the Jornada's battery, but overall it is a great compliment to a powerful PDA. The viewfinder on the screen and the 2X zoom are nice for general picture taking. It does not have a flash so you have to use it in well lit areas. Viewing pictures taken is easy and transfering them to a desktop is a snap. It has a cool feature that tells you how many pictures can be taken based on the quality setting and the amount of available Storage space. It is also very compact and travels nicely with the Jornada.

ok....with the hp jornada 525....it kinda [wasn't good], but it was the pda not the camera...the 525 is a great little pda but it doesn't have the resolution to use the camera well! when i got my jornada 568 this little gadget takes pretty good pictures, much lighter and clearer than on the 525!really glad i held onto it cause this tiny little accesssory is easy to carry and i can take pictures anytime i want...it has lots of setting for night, action, zoom ect....being a nurse at a nursing home there are alot of wonderful moments when i say why don't i have a camera,,,now i do!
