The Hewlett-Packard LaserJet 3150xi is a multifunction machine with fax, scanner, copier, and printing capabilities. It is compact and perfect for the small office. The 3150xi works like any stand-alone copier, printer, fax, or scanner. You can send a fax or make copies without a PC connection, and the instant-on fuser requires no waiting or warm-up time. There are two paper paths and 2 MB of task management memory to allow multitasking and simultaneous operations: print while faxing, receive faxes while scanning, scan while printing, and more.

For intuitive installation, the HP LaserJet 3150xi includes easily networked software that establishes links to your existing office suite applications. The printer offers true 600 x 600 dpi resolution and six-page-per-minute print speed. The fax offers several advanced functions. With one touch of a button you can scan directly to your e-mail and the fax stores up to 150 pages in its memory in case the power goes out. Scanning documents is quick and offers a high resolution of 600 dpi.

The LaserJet 3150xi includes a 3-meter parallel cable, CD-ROM with JetSuite Pro, ReadIRIS Pro OCR software 5.0, and TrellixWeb HP Personal LaserJet Edition 2.5.

The Hewlett Packard LaserJet 3150XI is probably the finest fax machine I have ever used. Not enough can be said about the features this model provides. It is a laser printer, not ink jet which makes received faxes print in seconds. The loading mechanism takes only ONE sheet at a time, which seems to be a major problems with lower end fax machines. The copy feature works flawlessly and effiecently.

The buttons are laid out well and are easy to understand. One thing I truly enjoy is this fax machine can be either a stand alone (How I use it) or connected to a PC for it's quality printing capabilies.

If you do a heavy amount of faxing (100+ a day) or just need extreme quality in a fax machine, I can't recommend this enough for you. It will not disappoint!

It provides the necessary functionality for the small business user. However, each functional area doesn't perform like it's stand-alone counterparts.

You get everything you need for an inexpensive price, but you pay for it in speed and quality.

Although the speed and quality of the print is very good, the constant problem of the fax taking more than one sheet at a time and jamming the mechanism has made it impossible for us to continue using this in our office. It will grab upwards of 8 to 10 sheets at a time, so the only way to get a fax printed from our hp 3150 is to have an employee sit and manually feed each sheet into the fax machine. We ordered an aftermarket fix to solve the problem, which was recommened by a service shop that also has had experienced this jamming problem from other owners bringing this fax in for repair, and the afermarked fix also did not work. After a frustrating year with the HP 3150, we are scrapping this model and shopping for a new fax machine.
