Brings' Hex'n'Sex - Cologne dialect at its finest, April 26, 2001

The songs on the Cd vary from ballads to powerful rock, and show the versatility of the band. The music is similar to the rock by the Scorpions as well as the slow ballads of songwriters. The language is, for the non-native, hard to understand or to follow, as the band uses its home dialect, "Kölsch", which is the dialect spoken in Cologne, Germany. This gives the lyrics their authenticity and make them believable. This, in conjunction with the music makes this album well rounded and interesting. I would recommend this CD to anyone who likes music by BAP, De Bläck Föös, De Höhner, or other Cologne-native bands. Enjoy the music!
